The annual display evening was held on Friday 18th May 2001 at 7.00. This years guest was Mr. Ian McLaughlin former Director for the Boys Brigade in Scotland

 26th Edinburgh Company Boys Brigade New Web Site will be launched shortly

 The Company will shortly announce the reformation of the Bugle band. Several boys are currently undergoing instruction on the drums, Bugle and piping will be offered in the coming months  

Junior Section  Indoor Football Competition 

The junior section had a very successful evening at the recent completion , after qualifying for the final stages. The team managed to win the remaining games. to lift the Junior shield, the first trophy of the new millennium

Edinburgh & Leith District Battalion Band Competition  April 2001

at the recent band competition Ben Duncan won the Best March, Junior and Senior in the Piping competition. this followed on from ben`s triumph at the Scottish Solo Piping competition in the Junior class.

Scottish Cross Country Championship    Bannockburn

Jordon Allan was selected for the battalion team after finishing fifth in the Edinburgh cross-country , although the team did not win , Jordon finished a creditable 20th , a good effort for his first cross country                     

The display marked the last display for Rev Mary Morrison who announced her retirement in September 2000, 

During the display the company paraded the colours from the 26th company (Greenbank Church) which were rededicated  

Scottish Band Solo Competition May 2000      Carronvale 

The inaugural Solo band competition which was held at Carronvale 2000, the junior solo piping competition was won by Pte Ben Duncan. This followed his 2nd place in the Junior and Senior competition and 1st in the best march, at the 

Edinburgh,Leith & District Battalion Band Competition

David Beeson , has been selected for the Edinburgh Battalion cross country team, which will take part in the Scottish Cross country Championships
